Making nature investable through NARIA — scales to achieve the ultimate moonshot
Making Nature Investable
CreditNature exists to solve one of the biggest challenges facing the planet: how do you make nature investable? Through the NARIA framework — the Natural Asset Risk and Investment Assessment — we have built the first scientific methodology to measure, value, and trade nature at scale.
We work with landowners, investors, and pioneering corporates to operationalise their Nature Positive commitments, turning biodiversity from a compliance challenge into an investment opportunity.
The NARIA Framework
NARIA provides four core metrics that together give a complete picture of ecosystem health. The Ecosystem Condition Index (ECI) scores overall habitat quality on a 0–100 scale. Bird Trait Diversity (BTD) measures species richness and population trends. Vegetation Spatial Diversity (VSD) captures habitat heterogeneity and patch structure. Landscape Connectivity (LC) assesses species movement pathways and barriers.
The methodology received full accreditation from Accounting for Nature (AfN) in October 2025 at both High and Very High quality levels — the first and only AfN-accredited ecosystem condition methodology in the market.
From Measurement to Market
One nature credit represents one verified unit of ecosystem condition uplift, providing the rigour that institutional investors need for TNFD and CSRD biodiversity reporting.
CreditNature turns biodiversity from a compliance challenge into an investment opportunity — creating a new asset class backed by real, measurable ecological recovery.
